Verbatim DVD+R DL not detected

Hello. I no this is probably not something wrong with the program as much as my computer but if you could help me out it would be much appreciated. I insert a Verbatim DVD+R DL into my dvd bruner drive and imgburn and my computer dosnt detect it put when i put in a TDK DVD-R it does. I just dont get it.

Do you want to write on the Verbatim DVD+R DL disc or do you want to read it? If you want to write it, check if your burner is capable of writing DVD+R DL media (right-click on its name and choose Capabilities).
