xg5 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I wound up skipping quite a few files that were being used by other programs. Is my ISO going to work? Thanks.
TomW Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 The only way your going to find out is through trial and error. Unfortunately, i don't think there is any other way
mmalves Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Can you post the log from that operation? You can find it through ImgBurn's Help menu.

mmalves Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Those files are locked by the operating system while in use. Are you using ImgBurn to backup your whole C drive?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Don't Use a proper backup tool like Acronis True Image.
xg5 Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) Don't Use a proper backup tool like Acronis True Image. OK, I value your recommendation. I had been planning on using Disc Copy by Easeus which requires an ISO. Apparently, quite a few people have used this program to successfully migrate their hard drives. Edited August 14, 2009 by xg5
xg5 Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 OK, lookis like I wasn't supposed to make an ISO of my hard drive. Oops. I appreciate the help. This thread should be closed/deleted. Thanks.
