Crazy imgburn error please help!!!!

i just installed imgburn onto my hp pavillion dv9000 laptop and when i went to burn i got this very crazy error

'Write Error' means the burner couldn't write on the disc. It could be due to dirt on the lens or the drive that doesn't like the media you're using.

 

Try burning at 8x, and if that doesn't work, then try with higher quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks. You might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that drive but I'm not sure if it'll help much
