wont let me burn

Hi can anyone help. I have everything set up and when i click write to disc it wont let me it says command sequence error and a load more stuff that i cant understand the log says this

Your drive isn't correctly recognizing the disc (the highlightd value should be 2,298,496 or 2,297,888), which means it doesn't support that disc. You could try a Full Erase on it but I'm not sure if it'll help, or even work. It would be better if you used non-rewritable media, or at least a rewritable from Verbatim.
