Disks are blank despite burn finishing, (verify faily)

I have tried to burn a variety of different isos and create my own but i still get a shiny blank disk following the burn process. it appears to have burned fine when verify is off but obviously the disk isnt created so verify fails.

 

Is it a wierd software / os issue or is my drive knackered.

Try burning at 4x, 6x or 8x. If it doesn't work then try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
