dosu Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 When burning a dual layer movie whats the best layer break? I know about the star color but what if all the stars are grey? the highest padding number and % 50/50? or 50/50 with the lowest padding number?
Cynthia Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 The best one from the viewing point is the one where there is a "natural" switch in the movie - like a camera angel switch. Found anything in the preview window that looks good? If your player supports it - the seamless option should make the "break" invisible when you watch it, despite where you put the break.
dosu Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 (edited) i never watched a preview, i figured its the whole movie or something. and always picked the good star, but now lots of movies dont have colored stars, so i figured 50/50 is good im guessing edit: looked at the previews for each, im not sure what im looking for, and they all look jaggie, not sure where the switch is or anything Edited August 16, 2009 by dosu
Cynthia Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Where the preview starts - is the start of the next layer.
dosu Posted August 17, 2009 Author Posted August 17, 2009 i suppose they all look fine to me, even though its all grey stars
