JustAnotherForumName Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 In fact, I have yet to even downloaded it. I seek free software that will burn a CD with a Track #0. It must also be able to burn track after track without that two second gap in between. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_(Evanescence_album): Official versions of the CD have a hidden track prior to the start of the CD containing an outtake from the song "Anywhere" that can be accessed in some CD players through the use of the 'previous track' button at the beginning of the first track. I want to do this. I also need the songs to play continuously (unlike a CD burned with WMP which plays a song, pauses two seconds, then plays the next song). I was recommended to try ImgBurn. Can ImgBurn do this? If so, how would one go about doing this?
mmalves Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 The two seconds pause is the PreGap, which in ImgBurn you can set to zero when creating a CUE file. As for the hidden track, I think you'd need to look at the Media Information from the original disc (this in Read mode) to see how it was done and how it could be replicated
JustAnotherForumName Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 Not possible. The actual disk costs hundreds of dollars and is not easy to find. The point is to make a replicate disk using downloaded songs (this is legal for the content I am downloading, via recorded verbal permission from the artists).
mmalves Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Without knowing how it is done it's hard to tell, but probably it can't be done with ImgBurn alone.
