So i backed up my newly purchased NCAA game and it worked perfect, but i was also trying to backup Madden 10 and when i burned it instead of actually burning the game all that burned was a single screen that had the 360 logo on it and it played like a dvd with fastfoward and everything. Anyone know where i went wrong.

Use the Verify mode to check that disc against the source image. Without the verify we don't know if it's a good burn or not.

We need to know if it was a bad burn or not. If it passes verify then the disc is fine and it's your console that needs fixing.

Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive, and if it doesn't help, you may want to replace that burner or buy an external one.
