Making .iso files bootable from regular prorams ex. (Eraser)

There was this guide to make .iso files bootable but it didn't work. I was stuck at the part where I had to select a boot image to start the making process.

That's because you need a boot image in order to make a disc bootable.

Any one know how to make a regular software (Nero) (Roxio) (Eraser) to a bootable disc.

What do you need the bootable disc for? I'm asking because there are several pre-made bootable images available for downloading and one of them might be able to do what you want.

I want to make a harddrive wiper in case of emergencies and I wanted the cd to be bootable.
