mrepcrhdh Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I just downloaded ImgBurn and am having trouble getting started. I used DVD Decrypter to rip a DVD and therefore have a .vob, .ifo and .txt file that I'd like to burn to a DVD. I've followed the guide 'Burning DVD files directly to single layer media'. When I click 'Calculate' button I get the following error. Fix VTS Sectors Failed! Reason: Could not find VIDEO_TS.IFO file. I 20:53:02 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 20:53:02 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 20:53:02 Total Physical Memory: 1,047,536 KB - Available: 426,988 KB I 20:53:02 Initialising SPTI... Cynthia Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, mrepcrhdh! The VIDEO_TS.IFO must exist if you are going to play the burned disc on a DVD player. That's why you get the "error" about it in ImgBurn.
mrepcrhdh Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 Any idea why I'm missing the VIDEO_TS.IFO file? Is there a ripper that you suggest over the DVD Decrypter?
Cynthia Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 The fact that you have a .txt file indicates that you used the first program wrongly. Use Google to find out how to use that first program, as we in this forum can't discuss ripping programs.
