Henri Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Okay let me first start by giving you some backround info. I am using a Sony Optiarc DVD RW 7200 and Memorex DVD DL. I know ppl have suggested that I should get the verbatims dvds and I will unless someone can give me some advice. I am burning 360 games and have perviously burnt about 20+ games and all was well with a few errors. Something I thought was normal. I had vista installed first when I burnt all games. Then downgraded to xp and imageburn would not allow me to go less the 4x. I thought it was an xp issue and went back to vista. I am on vista and still get the same issue. Here is my log and any help will be welcome. If its my drive can anyone please let me know which drive I should get. Thanks. Note: Once the dics gives me this error. I pop out the dvd and I can see multiple rings on the disc. I have never seen this b4 which makes me lean to the fact that the rom is bad. Thanks. I/O Error! Try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get a better burn. That burner is very good and if you bought Verbatim 2.4x blanks it should work without problems.

Cynthia Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 @ Henri 4x also gave me a crappy burn = verify errors with that RITEK-S04-66 media code. 6x and 8x works very nicely. The best result was made at 6x write speed.
rouge Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I am also getting an i/o error. I did on an old version of ImgBurn so I've updated to the newest version, and still am getting the i/o error. Funny thing is, I never got errors prior to today using whatever cd media I had at the time. I ran in it test mode first, then tried to burn the iso: I 11:25:29 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!
