angryelephant3 Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 So after unsuccessfully trying to write my files to 4.7gb disks (imgburn says its fits but upon burning it is cut short by about 10 minutes every time) I decided to get dual layer disks. But upon trying to burn I come up with a I/O error. This is the log. Thanks I 21:18:40 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 21:18:40 Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 21:18:40 Total Physical Memory: 1,038,412 KB - Available: 526,172 KB W 21:18:40 Drive J:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size. I 21:18:40 Initialising SPTI... I 21:18:40 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 21:18:40 Found 1 DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Your drive doesn't support those discs. Get Verbatims 2.4x MKM-001-00 dye ones instead or buy a new drive.
mmalves Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I 21:18:55 Source File Sectors: 2,097,504 (MODE1/2048)I 21:18:55 Source File Size: 4,295,688,192 bytes That fits OK on single-layer media. As for "cutting short" you should look in whichever program is generating the files since ImgBurn burns them as they are (no changes are made).
