The slowest speed your drive can burn that media is 4x but that shouldn't be a problem since slower doesn't necessarily mean a better quality burn. Also you should leave Verify enabled as that ensures the disc was correctly burned. -- (traduzione automatica) Non c'

LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 lol it wasn't perfect and no matter what you think, if the drive says the minimum speed is 4x then that's all it's going to burn at... no matter if you select 1x, 2x or 2.4x - it'll always go with the slowest it supports (i.e. 4x).
sale91 Posted August 26, 2009 Author Posted August 26, 2009 This I have understood for this I have put the image, but first with the same DVD wrote to 1x -.-
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 That must have been a DMA issue. It's impossible to make a drive write at a speed it doesn't support, and yours simply doesn't support 1x. No DVD+ format discs have EVER been supported by drives at less than 2.4x. That's the slowest/initial speed the format was designed for (back when the top speed of DVD- format discs was 1x or 2x).
sale91 Posted August 26, 2009 Author Posted August 26, 2009 excuse me if I insist, but I have done about 20 games in this way, you say that using DVD from 2.4x i to solve the problem? Thx
mmalves Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 As LUK said the software can't force the hardware to do something it doesn't want to do. What's the real problem you're having? The drive should be doing good burns on all those listed speeds.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Indeed, if it burns and verifies ok (although you haven't show us a log of it doing that), what's the problem?
