SnWoReLtIhFlOdA Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I am pretty new to Imgburn and I tried to burn Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for Xbox 360 from my computer. The problem is that I never can press the Write option and underneath it always says: "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Ready). Every time I eject the disc and then load it again it says: "Device Not Ready (Logical unit is in process of becoming ready 99%) and then it gets stuck at 99 % and after a while it says: "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Ready) again. I don't understand what I am doing wrong so please help me. This is also my log everytime I try to burn games: I 13:52:51 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 13:52:51 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 13:52:51 Total Physical Memory: 1
blutach Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Are you putting a blank disc in the drive? Regards
mmalves Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Right-click on the burner's name and choose Capabilities: under Write Capabilities is DVD+R DL checked or not?
SnWoReLtIhFlOdA Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Are you putting a blank disc in the drive? Regards Yeah I recently bought it in a store, Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5 GB
SnWoReLtIhFlOdA Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Right-click on the burner's name and choose Capabilities: under Write Capabilities is DVD+R DL checked or not? As I said before I am new to this stuff so if you could explain more specific it would be great.
Cynthia Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Select Write mode in the main menu. Select the DVD writer you have then Main Menu -> Tools -> Drive -> Capabilities Is 'DVD +R DL' checkmarked? If Yes -> It can burn DL media and if No -> Get a new burner
blutach Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 The ND-2500A is not natively a DL drive, I don't think. But see here for how to flash it using L&D firmware. Still, the drive is very old and you could with a new one. Regards
