RMO87 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Hello, I just downloaded ImgBurn yesterday. What I'm trying to do is create a bootable disc, for the computer memory test program called Gold Memory. I did select "Bootable Disc" in the advanced options of ImgBurn, but it did not seem to work as expected when I rebooted my computer (it just loaded Windows XP as usual). I'm thinking I may have burnt the wrong file. What is showing up on my disc is "CDROM ISO file 1,486 KB" (what I thought was the Gold Memory file I needed). It shouldn't matter that I used a DVD, should it? Might I need to do some type of unzipping or something first with the above-mentioned file?? Thanks for the hand-holding. I've only burnt two other DVDs ever! Ryan
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Burn CDROM.ISO in Write mode, that's all you have to do. CDROM.ISO is an Image File - so the option you need to select on the main screen should be very obvious.
