X360noob Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 (edited) Hi. I have burnt xbox 360 games before with imgburn but my computer crashed and when i got it back after they switched the hardrive I can't get it to work anymore. I'm using a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653L 0714 drive and Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL media. Ok, so my main problems are the book type selection and the write speed. when i try to change book type to DVD-ROM it doesn't seem like it changes and when set my write speed to 2.4x it burn with 4x speed. Anyway the game doesn't work. if anyone know what to do then please tell me what im doing wrong. /thanks in advance. Edited September 5, 2009 by X360noob
Cynthia Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, X360noob! Samsungs should be book typed by default when you burn with ImgBurn. Samsungs lowest speed on double layer media is normally 4x. Post a log of that "failed" burn. You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
X360noob Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Ok here's the log. I 13:19:53 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 13:19:53 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1) I 13:19:53 Total Physical Memory: 2
mmalves Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 That was a good burn, so if the source image isn't corrupted then the problem is in your x360 console. Any particular reason for using the Incremental write type? By the way you should update your Vista to service pack 2
