Img Burn " no reference position found"

Hello everybody, im fairly new to the scene of burning but today i installed imageburn in an attempt to burn some some games. anyway im going to get to the point, i looked through the posts and saw that some other people have similar problems. my problem is that after i load the image, it doesnt let me burn it due to "no reference position found". my log looks like this:

Your drive isn't correctly recognising the disc. Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner to see if it helps, but it would be better if you could buy a new drive to replace it (I've looked around and many people had problems with that drive especially burning dual-layer media).
