mmalves Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. Where are your blanks made? It's printed on the packaging/spindle/box.
Jitin117 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) @Cynthia, this burner isnt that old, about 6-7 months @mmalves, the blanks are made in singapore Edited September 6, 2009 by Jitin117
Cynthia Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 If there is warranty left perhaps a warranty replacement could be done?
Jitin117 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 If there is warranty left perhaps a warranty replacement could be done? I could try, should I try burning with another computer and see if that works?
Cynthia Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Could be worth a try. I doubt it will work.
Jitin117 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Could be worth a try. I doubt it will work. Well the other computer has a GSA-H54L, which is pretty much 1 model down from the one I have in this computer.
Cynthia Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Aha, thought you should just move the current burner.
Jitin117 Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Aha, thought you should just move the current burner. Well it looks like I do have to replace my drive, because the H54L works, burned 2 disks already Ill get the drive replaced within the week Thanks for all the help!
