mmalves Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Did you not notice the Enable SPTI for All Users option in the installer?
feneque Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Enable SPTI for All Users This option it was enable in the instalation. My SO is Windows XP Pro 32 Jesus Gonzalez feneque@hotmail.com
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 What do you actually see in the log window? Have you read the FAQ? It tells you what to do and what your options are.
feneque Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 This is the log of ImgBurn I 13:23:25 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 13:23:25 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 13:23:25 Total Physical Memory: 3.136.220 KB - Available: 2.170.428 KB W 13:23:25 SPTD can have a detrimental effect on drive performance. I 13:23:25 Initialising SPTI... I 13:23:25 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 That doesn't look like an admin permissions problem - otherwise it wouldn't show the other drives. Something else is using the drive and preventing ImgBurn from using it. Perhaps you've got some packet writing software (or similar) installed?
feneque Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Hello I found a NO solution in my case http://www.networknet.nl/apps/wp/archives/tag/imgburn I have this GPO policy and I have the problem. Please help?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Did you read my last post? It has nothing to do with admin permissions... they're fine on your PC.
feneque Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 Hello ... and you ? Did you read my last post? I run ImgBurn with admin and I dont have proble, other user with no admin access cant not burn. All users in my domain have Power Users. If it is not problem of permisions, what is? With admin no problem. Thanks
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Like I said, if you can see any drive at all then permissions are not (in my experience anyway) the problem. You must have some other bit of software installed that's blocking access to the drive... and I don't mean Windows itself. Can you think of any other software you have install that could be causing it? Any other software to do with burning or drives in general? Have you tried the Nero Burnrights stuff mentioned in the FAQ? Failing that, use a different I/O interface - like I said, your options are all in the FAQ if you read it. Whilst you're here, post a copy of the filter driver list from within the Tools menu.
feneque Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 SOLUTION Remove all version og ImgBurn Put user in local admin group Install ImgBurn Quit local admin group permision Run ImgBurn ;-D
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 That makes no sense at all, but if it's working, great.
