I wrote last week that I was getting an I/O error when trying to burn something. I was using TDK DVDs and was told to switch to Verbatim, and also to try to clean out my drive. I got some Verbatim DVD and cleaned my drive again, and this time it gave me the I/O error at 1%. Here is the log: I 00:04:00 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! Cynthia Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 The 4x write speed could be worth a try. Other than that, as you have tried all the tricks in the book, only one remains, get a new burner.
