thebib62
When i was burning to a Verbatim DVD+R DL, i saw this in the log "Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 3,324 KB/s (2.4x), Got: 5,540 KB/s (4x)" My Verbatim's are 2.4x write speed, and i saw in the thread titled "Problems burning double layer discs? Buy Verbatim!...." which i saw this "Dye: MKM-001-00, Write Speed: 2.4x (often 'overspeed' to 4x, 6x or 8x in modern writers)" So my question, is there anyway to mod/patch/change something on my burner so it will actually burn at a rate of 2.4x and not 4x? 4x is a bit to fast for what i'm burning. My burner is a lg gsa-e60l
LIGHTNING UK!
There might be a way, look at the cdfreaks forum. This one is for support with ImgBurn and you have a drive issue, not a program issue. Also, you can't burn too fast for something - that's an old myth. You burn at the speed your drive does the best job at. That could be fast on some and slow on others.
