im just basically stuck on synchronizing cache.

 

what can i do to fix this?

Turn the pc off.

 

You might like to try installing the latest chipset/controllers drivers for your motherboard.

 

If it's an intel one you want the intel matrix drivers.

I did what you sayed and testing to see if it worked im also writing on a slower speed i dont know if that will help.

Enable Windows Update to update your Vista to Service Pack 2.

 

Also look for updated drivers for your motherboard's chipset or SATA controller (use SIW to find out their brand/model if you don't know them).

mmalvas SP2 is not a cumaltive update. He has to update to SP1 one first finish all updates too (Note: SP1 changes Vista's Kernel so it might take a while) then he should update to SP2.

I know. That's why I said to enable Windows Update as that would sort it out by itself.

Did what you guys suggested, its burning right now but ill have to wait and see if its working fine.
