robertus Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 hi everybody i have a problem because yesterday burn with imgburn work fine, now not work, i don't know why, but some months ago i had the same problem and i don't remeber how i resolved it. i try to unistall jmicron driver (controller) and reinstall but not work, is strange because when imgburn work fine, near to device there was [0:0:0], but now there are [5:1:0] and i think that is this the problem. this is my log, i hope that someone can help me: I 04:01:23 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!I 04:01:23 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3)I 04:01:23 Total Physical Memory: 3.275.820 KB - Available: 2.811.412 KBI 04:01:23 Initialising SPTI...I 04:01:23 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...I 04:01:23 Found 1 DVD
mmalves Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I 04:01:23 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!I 04:02:50 Source File File System(s): UDF (2.50)I 04:02:50 Destination Device: [5:1:0] PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-116D 1.06 (D:) (SCSI)Update ImgBurn. Here's the link to the latest JMicron drivers: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/XP_Vis...1.17.47WHQL.zip (run the installer and it'll update your current drivers if there are any) If all goes well with the above driver, after rebooting you should also update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). When you try burning again use 8x or 12x write speed. Do you really need to use UDF 2.50? I'm asking because Windows XP doesn't have built-in support for reading UDF 2.50
