Burning speed increased?

I wanted to burn a CCD on a CD, and i made it burn on 1x.

but then, in the log, it says: write speed miscompare! wanted, 1x, got 8x

what should i do?

Look again in the log for the Destination Media line and you'll see that 8x is probably the slowest speed your burner supports with that media.

Why burn it at 1x? I doubt even the burners from the Flintstone age could burn at 1x.
