Fox2 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 (edited) MSDOS is ancient, I know, but I need to create a CD that can boot up into MSDOS 6 or 7, for a few disc management and recovery programs that might still need to access data from that era. The net's got a lot of programs originally released on floppy disk that would be good to be able to boot off a CD instead, but there isn't a guide to this in the "Guides" forum. Trying to do it without a guide fails - ImgBurn wants a boot image and I'm not sure how to get one for an MSDOS system disk or a generic floppy disk based program. A brief guide covering "You have a floppy disk/MSDOS based program and want to make a bootable CD for it" or "Making a bootable MSDOS CD" would be helpful Edited September 15, 2009 by Fox2
