Sarah Lesselbaum Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I'm trying to burn a movie I downloaded. It says its a .eng but honestly I know nothing about this so that could be wrong. I want to burn this in a way that my stand alone dvd player will be able to read it but I think I am missing a step. It wont play on my stand alone at all and on my computer WinDVD wont play it either. It burns onto the disc as the same file type as i downloaded it and I have to use my VLC media player to watch it instead of Win DVD. I'm including the log but since it says its burning fine i dont know if it will help. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff so please forgive me if I havent been as specific as needed. I 21:15:00 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 21:15:00 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 21:15:00 Total Physical Memory: 523,496 KB - Available: 270,112 KB I 21:15:00 Initialising SPTI... I 21:15:00 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 21:15:01 Found 1 DVD
mmalves Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 You probably need to convert that video before burning, and you can do that using DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs.
