Newbie is doing something wrong while burning

I'm trying to burn a movie I downloaded. It says its a .eng but honestly I know nothing about this so that could be wrong. I want to burn this in a way that my stand alone dvd player will be able to read it but I think I am missing a step. It wont play on my stand alone at all and on my computer WinDVD wont play it either. It burns onto the disc as the same file type as i downloaded it and I have to use my VLC media player to watch it instead of Win DVD. I'm including the log but since it says its burning fine i dont know if it will help. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff so please forgive me if I havent been as specific as needed.

You probably need to convert that video before burning, and you can do that using DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs.
