fromjusttheking Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Just started using ImgBurn 2.5.0.0, and it seems to work very well. However, I have a question. If you choose to "Create an Image File From Disc", and there is ONE file on the disc that you want to replace with a different file (that is NOT on the disc), how do you DELETE or REMOVE THAT ONE file on the disc listing, and replace it with DIFFERENT file on your hard drive, and then burn the "slightly modified' disc as an image to your hard drive, then copy THAT image to a new disc? And do you record it as strictly an ISO file, or ISO/UDF file. I couldn't seem to find anything in any of the guides about this question. I'm using Verbatim 2.4X DVD+R DL (95310) media. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
mmalves Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 ImgBurn doesn't edit ISO images, and even though you could rebuild the original disc using ImgBurn's Build mode, it's easier to modify the files in the ISO image by using another program like UltraISO/MagicISO/PowerISO/etc.
