MLS Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 What is the reasoning behind IMGBurn defaulting to 8x audio read speed? Is it common for drives to fail to read audio data properly at speeds faster than 8x? Is there a way to find out if my drive is 'good enough' to read faster than this? I have a Toshiba SD-M1712 and a Samsung SH-S203B if anyone knows for these drives specifically. Thanks for this wonderful software. Mills
Cynthia Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Asked the same question ages ago and this was the reply I got at that time. I guess I should add it to the guide. Could help others in the future. There's no error correction on Audio tracks so the slower the better really.
