mmalves Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I 13:56:22 Destination Device: [1:0:0] ATAPI DVD A DH16AYH YH13 (F:) (ATA)I 13:56:22 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) Your burner doesn't support the media you're using. You can try this firmware update for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished), but it would be better if you could get high quality media that your burner supports
XxghostfacekillaxX Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 The Burner says that it supports DL disks I am using memorex dl disk, but i also used them on my Acer laptop and had no problem is the issue more the burner or the disk?
mmalves Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I didn't say your burner isn't capable of burning dual-layer media. I said that it doesn't support the specific discs (or rather the dye/ink used to manufacture them) that you're using.
XxghostfacekillaxX Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 Oh i see.... i tried the update u recomended but it still does not work. Should i try a Verbatim disk?
