I was wondering if someone could help me. I have been using DVD Decrypt and Imgburn for years and never had a problem. I have burned countless number of things with almost no problems. I have recently wiped my computer and installed a fresh version of XP. I have not added any new hardware and am using the same burned i have for years.I load my movie files into imgburn like i have done a 1000 times before and start to burn. The program starts to write the lead-in and then just sit there. Never actually starts to burn or build the buffer just sit there forever. I left it on over night and it did nothing. I do not get an error or anything for that matter, it just runs my burner and never stops. If i try to cancel the program, restart, or turn of my computer it just sits there. I have to physical turn the power off to get it to stop. I have tried various things but have not been able to get the program to work. Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening.

Sounds like you need to install the drivers for your motherboard's chipset or storage controller. Use SIW to find out which model you have (look in Hardware -> Motherboard) and look in the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers. If you're not sure you can copy and paste the information from SIW and we can look it up for you.
