mmalves Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 My m/b chipset drivers are current. Have you checked on the motherboard's manufacturer or the chipset's manufacturer? The motherboard's manufacturer drivers usually are a lot of versions behind (yes that's you Asus).
drums4life Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 The motherboard's manufacturer drivers usually are a lot of versions behind (yes that's you Asus). Ain't that the truth. Lol My m/b's maker is Biostar & the chipset's an nForce 550. Looks like the last thing nVidia put out for it was back in March. I thought of another thing to try. Gonna plug my burner into another sata port & see what happens there. I had some different burning problems a couple months ago that had to do with sata port issues. The problem may be with my m/b itself. Thanx again for the replies & suggestions.
