Multiple read errors on verify

Greetings again all,

 

I went to backup a movie earlier today & upon verifying the burn I get this:

My m/b chipset drivers are current.

Have you checked on the motherboard's manufacturer or the chipset's manufacturer? The motherboard's manufacturer drivers usually are a lot of versions behind (yes that's you Asus).

Ain't that the truth. Lol My m/b's maker is Biostar & the chipset's an nForce 550. Looks like the last thing nVidia put out for it was back in March. I thought of another thing to try. Gonna plug my burner into another sata port & see what happens there. I had some different burning problems a couple months ago that had to do with sata port issues. The problem may be with my m/b itself. Thanx again for the replies & suggestions.
