jsffm Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Now I have next write in progress. Same as before, device buffer low and speed at 1,2x :-(
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Can you please look at your cpu usage in task manager when burning and tell me which process is actually using up all the CPU. It makes no sense for it to be high when burning to BD-R and normal when burning (what I assume is exactly the same file/content?) to BD-RE.
jsffm Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 (edited) Cputime is used by kernel, imgburn uses up to 5%, processor overview shows 98% idle. Edited September 26, 2009 by jsffm
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 hmm that's odd if the IBG shows it's at 40 - 50% all the time.
jsffm Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Here log and ibg file imgburn4.txt ibg2.zip
jsffm Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 For testing purposes I deinstalled V 2.5.0 and reinstalled 2.4.4. Now I have device buffer at 100% and full speed at 4,1x If someone has an idea for using current version I can easily reinstall V 2.5.0
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 The only thing I can think of is that 'I/O SPTI Enumeration Method'. Try changing it to 'Device Class' in 2.5.0.0 - away from the default 'Device Interface'. Make sure you do a clean install too please. Other than that, I honestly have no idea! I've done a side by side comparison between the actual burning code in 2.4.4.0 and 2.5.0.0 and there's nothing at all in there that could be doing this. I still don't get why the CPU usage in ImgBurn's IBG is showing 40-50% and yet you say taskmanager shows 98% idle during the burn. Perhaps 'Process Explorer' (from sysinternals / microsoft) would do a better job of showing what's using it? Did I already ask you to post your filter drivers list? If not, could you do that please - feature is in the tools menu.
