Finalise Disc Failed! Reason Write Error

Hello Everyone,

 

i keep getting this error whenever imgburn trys to finalize the disc. Using NEC AD-7170S FW 1.3 and Verbatim DVD+R DL Printable MKM-003-00

Try burning faster and/or cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.

6X speed again Finalise Disc Failed! Reason Write Error. Tomorrow I go buy new DVD-RW. Which DVD-RW is the best for recording Verbatim DVD+R DL?

You might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner to see if it helps.

 

As for a new burner the latest models by Pioneer and Optiarc seem to be great burners, but you can also have a look over at cdfreaks forum for more opinions
