I keep getting the same error, Set LO Data Zone Capacity Failed..

Can anyone help me with this problem? It also tells me that access to the device is denied..

I just bought a new Samsung slim external dvd writer btw, could this be the problem?

Yup, take it back. It doesn't like your USB controller.

 

Oh and a word of advice.... don't buy slimline drives! They're rubbish compared to the full height ones.

I had issues with my USB's before some Microsoft updates were installed. Service Pack 1 & 2 is out and free.
