Movie burning steps that I got lost

Hi all,

 

I have with me a copy of movie file in *.avi together with a *.idx and a *.sub.

 

I converted the *.avi to a *.VOB.

 

Then? What should go where? It says in the guide that it would be better if I have a VIDEO_TS folder. That is not something that I can get via Right Click > New > Folder right?

 

How can I burn my movie with all the files above?

 

Sorry, I can't search because the search engine does not accept avi, sub, idx, vob and such. Too short they say.

Convert your AVI using DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD.

 

They'll create a proper set of IFO/BUP/VOB files in a VIDEO_TS folder... then you can burn that as per the guide.

I have that done. But I didn't manage to get the subtitle to be in. I have both *.sub and *.idx. What I gather around, *.sub is not necessarily a text file. It could be something else since it came with a *.idx.

 

Anybody can help me with this?

This isn't an ImgBurn issue, ask conversion ones over at the appropriate forum - i.e. the DVD Flick one.

 

We just don't deal with that stuff here.
