o0odvs1o0o Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 ***ISSUE FIXED*** I recently moved all of my hardware to a new case... after doing so, I had an issue with this power calibration issue... I now have 5 hard drives (sata) and 3 dvdrw's (2 ide and 1 hd blu-ray sata)--- I started rec'ing this error after burning 100's of dvd's successfully with Verbatim discs... I assumed it was due to my power supply, even though it is 750 watts! Anyway, TO FIX 'MY' ISSUE: I disabled one of the drives and the same thing occured, I made sure the drive was on its own power and all 3 were... I then used a completely different dvd and ALSO, I went into the services (start -> run -> services.msc) and right clicked on IMAPI CD BURNING, I then DISABLED IT, Then I went back in and changed it back to AUTOMATIC (which is was before)... OILA! It is now working, Im not positive if it was the disable/enabling of the IMAPI OR the new disc used... I have a suspicion it was the new disc... anyway, hope this helps someone out there... thanks!
mmalves Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 If it gives that error again you might want to try a lens cleaning disc on that burner. Also make sure each one has the latest firmware available for them
