I've burned many files with my burner, its a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L632N ATA, and its been working fine but since i upgraded to the new imgburn version 2.5.0.0, the discs burn fine and verify, however when i put them back in to check the contents, the directory is instead a file and i can't access the data and it says 0kb even though when the disc is scanned in my computer, it says 7.82 gigs. Imgburn doesn't say any problems when it burns either so i'm confused and wondering where to get an older version of Imgburn to fix my problem.

Post the log, there's nothing wrong with the new version.

Ok, your right, but it has to be the individual file size, the one that failed were 1080p .mkv files that were around 650mb each, and that was my problem, but i just now tried burning the same size folder but with a bunch of .avi videos around 170mb each and it worked normally, is there a special setting to use imgburn for big individual files?

If they're over 4GB then you'll need to use just UDF for the file system - or configure the program to ignore the size limitation in ISO9660/Joliet file systems (the file will look like it's 4gb in size no matter how big it really is).

Just one more thing it seems like the main problem I'm having is involving the naming of the directories i'm burning, if I use anything like a parentheses or brackets in the folder name I'm trying to burn, not the root directory, but a directory on the disc, then instead of the folder showing up, it is just a file that is zero kbytes that i can't open, even tho the disc itself says that the space used on the disc is 7.83 gigs, there was nothing on the log that said that there were problems and the verification went off without a hitch, but as soon as i removed the parentheses from the directory it would burn properly, if there is a certain setting i have to do to fix this, or something I'm not aware of about the settings please tell me, also by the way I'm using a completely default version of Imgburn, no special tweaks or anything.

Please give me some examples (via pictures or whatever) and show me the log of where you burnt the disc/created the image.

The more info you can provide, the easier it is for me to know what the hell it is that you're going on about.
