Beko Posted October 3, 2009 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Ok just experienced this error myself and have tried all the suggestions in the many posts regarding 'Power Calibration Area Error'. I've used various speeds (up to x8) same error. I'm using the Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL discs (Made in Taiwan) - same error. Solution - I put in another identical disc - started working no problems and burned. Reason - Think even the best discs can still have a flaw on them somewhere, so if you get this error eject the disc and put another one in.
