The program has been working great all of a sudden I'm getting the following errors.

DeviceIoControl (IOCTL_storage_MCN_CONTROL )Failed

Unable to disable media change notification

Reason:The Paramater is incorrect

Cannot Write Medium Incorrect Format

I have a duel layer multiformat burner.

1 gig of ram

3gig processor.

XP

All help would be appreciated.

starblazer, is it possible you can post a log of the failed burn. This looks like it could be a media problem, but the log would help everyone assess the problem more fully. :)

Do remember that each speed supported by your burner could have different outcomes.

Slower doesn't always mean better. It's quite possible that the slower speed strategies aren't as good as the faster ones - because the faster ones are probably what have been worked on the most - and therefore produce the best burns.

Glad the old firmware has worked for now but that's not really the ideal solution to this problem.
