mmalves
If the disc contents is DVD-Video (i.e. VIDEO_TS folder with IFO/BUP/VOB files inside) then the drive may be reading slow on purpose: that's known as riplock and the only way to remove it is by flashing a modified firmware on the burner. You can modify the firmware with MediaCodeSpeedEdit if your burner is supported by that application. Also, in order to avoid read errors, some burners automatically slow down the reading speed if the burned disc quality is poor (crappy media/burned too fast/dirty disc/etc). KruxaN
I did like the guide said but same speed, do i must have "verify" on? What happens if i don't have it on?
mmalves
It compares data on the disc against the source image/file(s) to check if they match (if they don't match then the disc is bad), but of course you could've known that if you used the Search button above, right?
