I never had any problems doing this before today, and as of now I'm getting 100% failure rate. Test-burns run smoothly, and I can still burn DVDs without any sort of errors. I'm using Verbatim disks. (Speeds: 16x, 24x, 40x, 48x) Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again at 16x or 24x.
