I am constantly burning DL Dvds, and every once in a while this happens...

Can someone help me understand what and why this is happeneing? Is it the DVDs? Is it the burner?

Thanks in advance.

It's probably the media you're using. Have you tried burning at 4x? You could try cleaning the burner's lens with a cotton bud and some alcohol or using one of those lens cleaning disc kits, but it would be much better if you could try with the Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL blanks.
