Hi,

I’m having problems with, yes xbox 360 backups.

I’m using Verbatims but am getting a lot of failures. (30% ish).

Is it possible I’ve just got some bad disks that I need to take back? (Should be an interesting conversation in Maplins that).

Below is the log of a failure, if anyone can point to anything that I’m doing wrong, quite likely, that would be great.

I should say that when they burn they work fine.

Thanks

John

Have you tried burning at 6x or 8x? Where are those Verbatims made? It's printed on the packaging/box/spindle. It might also be worth trying a lens cleaning disc on that burner.

One of our beta team members had the same problem with some he got from Maplin the other day - they were on sale, right? £20 for 25 or whatever?

I believe he was going to send his back too.

Yep those are the ones £20 for 25, made in India.

I did use AWS with similar results but will give burning at x6 a go as well.

Thanks for the replies,

John
