The media I used was Verbatim DVD-R with "Advanced AZO+" printed in the bottom-right corner of the box. Does anyone have any tips about this? This is a HP laptop with a built-in BD/DVD RW. Thanks in advance, dd
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Put it back on DAO/SAO as that's the default and therefore gets used the most / gets all the testing. There doesn't appear to be any firmware updates for the drive from HP so about the only things you can try doing are: 1. Clean the drive 2. Use a different write speed - i.e. 8x 3. Use different media. I prefer the Taiyo Yuden dyes for DVD-R media rather than the Verbatim ones. The 'TYG02' MID is actually my favourite one - ever!
discodev1l Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 Thank you! Seems to be working with the speed 8X, the next step is placing it in the wii and se what happens:) DD
