I have tried both DAO/SAO and Incremental, but both result in the same way.

The media I used was Verbatim DVD-R with "Advanced AZO+" printed in the bottom-right corner of the box.

Does anyone have any tips about this? This is a HP laptop with a built-in BD/DVD RW.

Thanks in advance,

dd

Put it back on DAO/SAO as that's the default and therefore gets used the most / gets all the testing.

There doesn't appear to be any firmware updates for the drive from HP so about the only things you can try doing are:

1. Clean the drive

2. Use a different write speed - i.e. 8x

3. Use different media. I prefer the Taiyo Yuden dyes for DVD-R media rather than the Verbatim ones. The 'TYG02' MID is actually my favourite one - ever!
