PhilippeFV Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) About half the time I use ImgBurn, I get the following error message after the line "Cycling tray before verify." The error message is: "Waiting for device to become ready." There is a DVD in the drive, as it just recorded it. The drive opened and closed, and just waits. I manually open and close the drive, but that doesn't help. On the top screen, at the bottom, it says "Device not Ready (Medium not Present - Tray Closed). Also try burning at 12x or 8x to see if you get a better burn. The message you're seeing means the burner isn't recognizing the disc after it has just burned it, which is usually a sign of bad media, dirt on the burner's lens or a dying burner
