mmalves Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 What does ImgBurn say in the status bar when that happens? Can you try that burner on another computer? I 17:42:57 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67) (Speeds: 3x; 4x; 6x) Three burners with the same media and nothing but problems, doesn't that make you wonder about the quality of the media? Slim burners are rubbish at best, so it would be better if you could exchange it for a full size burner in an external enclosure, or even when using high quality media you might get coasters.

mmalves Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Get the 2.4x Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks if you can, you'll have a better chance with them. If you can find only the 8x Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks then try burning them at higher speeds (usually results in a better burn quality).
