LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Try 6x or 8x write speed. Try cleaning the drive. Try using MKM-001-00 media instead. Buy a new drive.

You were spot on with your answe. I replaced the HP factory junk with a Pioneer DVR-A18M. Everything is perfect now and I am a happy boy. No more high blood pressure and cursing at my PC.
