Imgburn Failed

Purchased this computer a while ago. Made one CD with Ashampoo. Tried again, and get calibration error. Tried Nero and get Calibration error. Afterdawn advised I try you guys. Here is my log: I accidentally put a DVD into the tray instead of a CD on the first failure:

Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try burning at 16x or 24x.

How old is that burner? Is it still under warranty? Could you try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs?

 

It seems weird that it can't burn CDs, but then again I have a similar model of the same brand and it died for CD media a few months ago :unsure:
