Problem Burning to Memorex DL

Recommended Posts

Just bought a new pack of 10 memorex dl's and having problems burning a dvd file.

Im not sure weather it's the dl's or the dvd/iso file. Im using a burner thats been sucessful with many burn's before and all i have changed is my DL's.

I would download a new dvd file and then find out if it's the DL's or the file, i write at 2.0-2.4 and it starts but just lags and stays on the start bit for ages and doesn't move.

Heres my log:

Something in your machine it timing out the command after a minute and that's why the drive then vanishes from the OS and ImgBurn.

If the drive doesn't like the 'RITEK-S04-66' dye (which I'm guessing doesn't and that's why the command is even taking a whole minute), don't buy/use it.
