Daf Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) Just bought a new pack of 10 memorex dl's and having problems burning a dvd file. Im not sure weather it's the dl's or the dvd/iso file. Im using a burner thats been sucessful with many burn's before and all i have changed is my DL's. I would download a new dvd file and then find out if it's the DL's or the file, i write at 2.0-2.4 and it starts but just lags and stays on the start bit for ages and doesn't move. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Something in your machine it timing out the command after a minute and that's why the drive then vanishes from the OS and ImgBurn. If the drive doesn't like the 'RITEK-S04-66' dye (which I'm guessing doesn't and that's why the command is even taking a whole minute), don't buy/use it.
