Xbox 360 backup hangs at 50%.

I can backup my original discs without a problem, but when I try to backup my downloaded .dvd file, I always seem to have the program hang while it trys to write the 2nd layer.

I just finished cleaning and retrying a speed. Same error??? I also see that there are other people with the same issue and yet no ideas out there other than different media?

These are hardware issues, there are no magical fixes or new 'ideas'.

 

If the other write speeds don't work and cleaning doesn't either, get a new drive.
